Private aircraft owners have many use and ownership options consistent with FAA laws and other Federal and State regulations including private aircraft ownership, partnership aircraft ownership, corporate aircraft ownership, limited liability company (LLC) aircraft ownership joint and shared ownership agreements, fractional share agreements, flight-time agreements, and aircraft purchase, sale and financing transactions. Airport Agreements and Dealings with Third Parties.

Airports and private aircraft owners may contract with commercial advertising, banner towing or other airfield sponsorship agreements subject to applicable laws permitting such contracting. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) permits general aviation airports to enter into residential through-the-fence agreements (RTTF) with adjacent property owners for non-commercial ingress and egress easement use under Section 185 of the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018.
